»128« is an article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus under which all employees of state structures who support the regime fall–»crimes against human security«. The film »128« is inspired by this article and will show the »expectations« vs. the »reality« of the supporters of the Lukashenko regime. The film’s protagonists are the mainstays of Lukashenko’s power: a policeman, a teacher who falsifies votes at a polling station, a television employee and, of course, the self-proclaimed president.
