We filmed »0908« in late November 2020 as part of the »Vyanok 2.0« project. However, after the producer was arrested and the project participants were persecuted, the film was never released. Its creators had to leave the country and move to Warsaw.

A year later, the atmosphere of the video was completely different: not only had Belarus changed, but so had the lives of those who had been forced to leave. Director Dasha Brian and producer Masha Kruk decided to relive these events and release the director’s version, which more fully reveals the real emotions and feelings of Belarusians.

In 0908 we pay tribute to Alexander Taraikovsky and other brave heroes who suffered under the brutality and violence of the Lukashenko regime. With this film we launch a series of art video projects.
