Antanina Slabodchykava is a contemporary Belarusian visual artist, performer, illustrator, and lecturer, working in spatial installations, video art, ready-mades, and objects. Due to political repression in Belarus, she had to leave the country and move to Germany, where she is now based, alongside her partner and fellow artist Mikhail Gulin, with whom she is also a co-founder of »1+1=1« art group. In Dresden the artists had a large solo exhibition »Café Belarus II: Kassandra Complex Kassandra Komplex« held in Japanisches Palais in September-November 2023.
